Terms and Conditions

1. Who we are

BLine is a driving-school management service operated by Ian Ford, trading as BLine (\\\\\\\"BLine\\\\\\\", \\\\\\\"we\\\\\\\", \\\\\\\"us\\\\\\\"), a sole trader in the United Kingdom. Contact: admin@blinedriving.co.uk.

By creating an account or using BLine, you (\\\\\\\"you\\\\\\\", \\\\\\\"the instructor\\\\\\\") agree to these Terms.

2. The service

BLine provides software for independent driving instructors to manage pupils, lessons, scheduling, progress tracking, and payments. We provide the service on a subscription basis and may add, change, or remove features over time.

3. Eligibility

You must be a driving instructor (or otherwise operating a driving school) and at least 18 years old to create a BLine account.

4. Subscription, free trial & payment

• BLine is offered on a 14-day free trial, after which it costs £12.99 per month (the \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"BLine Solo\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" plan) unless cancelled before the trial ends.
• Subscription payments are taken via Stripe. By subscribing you authorise us to charge the recurring fee to your chosen payment method.
• Prices may change; we will give you at least 30 days\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\' notice by email before any change to your subscription price takes effect. If you don\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t wish to accept the new price, you can cancel before it applies.
• You are responsible for any taxes that apply to you.

5. Cancellation & refunds

• You can cancel at any time. If you cancel before your free trial ends, you will not be charged.
• After the trial, the subscription renews monthly. You can cancel at any time and your subscription will end at the close of the current billing period.
• Because we offer a 14-day free trial that lets you fully evaluate BLine before paying, monthly fees are non-refundable once charged, except where required by law.

6. Pupil payments (Stripe Connect)

Where you use BLine to take payments from your pupils, those payments are processed through your own connected Stripe account. BLine facilitates this but is not a party to the payment between you and your pupil. You are responsible for your own tax, invoicing, and any disputes relating to pupil payments. Stripe\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s own terms and fees apply to those transactions. (This feature may not be enabled on all accounts.)

7. Your responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate account information and keep your login secure.
• Use BLine lawfully and only for managing your driving-instruction business.
• Be responsible for the personal data you enter about your pupils and their parents, including having a lawful basis (and parental consent where required) for recording data about pupils, some of whom may be minors.
• Not misuse, copy, resell, or attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service.

8. Our responsibilities & availability

We aim to keep BLine available and working well, but we provide it \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"as is\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" and cannot guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may carry out maintenance and will try to minimise disruption.

9. Data protection

Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy [link to Privacy Policy]. You are responsible for handling your pupils\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\' data lawfully within the service.

10. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• BLine is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, data, or business arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service.
• Our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in that period.
• Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (e.g. for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).

11. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms or misuse the service. You may close your account at any time. On termination, your right to use BLine ends; data handling on closure follows our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be on this page. Significant changes will be notified to you where reasonable.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
